The first “Africa Energy Now” conference was held in Addis Ababa, with BRULLI contributing through a presentation by Gian Luigi Montorsi on the panel “Renewable Energy: Impact on the National Transmission Grid and Dispatching Facilities”. The conference was part of the Africa–EU Energy Partnership programme and brought together numerous institutional representatives from Ethiopia and Tanzania, both countries pursuing major renewable energy development plans. This is a decisive challenge for the continent’s development in the years ahead, with significant implications for the whole world, and an important opportunity to reaffirm the values that should guide this transition towards the future.
