BRULLI today delivered to the Italian Transmission System Operator (TSO) Terna S.p.A. the electrical infrastructure HV facilities, composed of the 132 kV Carpani Electricity Station, a new overhead transmission line to the e-distribuzione HV Primary Cabin of Canneviè with associated overhead transmission connections to the facing e-distribuzione HV Primary Cabins of Canneviè, Cà Tiepolo and the Users Stations of Conserve Italia and KASTAMONU Italia in the province of Ferrara, project which allow, among other things, to increase the reliability of this 132 kV portion of the grid by removing the rigid connection between the NTG and user overhead transmission lines implemented in the years ’90.
The total investment was 10 million euros funded 66% by the User KASTAMONU and the balance 34% by the TSO, entirely engineered, authorized, built and operated from its own remote-control room by BRULLI, and allowed the supply of high-voltage electricity supply to the plant of the Turkish multinational company KASTAMONU, one of the world leaders in the sector of wood reuse for furniture production. From the date of signing the connection contract, BRULLI, also thanks to the precious spirit of service operated by some Directors of the TSO and the valuable collaboration of the bodies responsible for issuing authorizations pursuant to the Law, first and foremost the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, the ARPAE of Ferrara and the Municipality of Codigoro, allowed the entire production plant to be energized in a record time of just 306 days, thus allowing the return to work from the state of Layoff Fund arising from the previous industrial management of over 197 workers, who in the meantime has become over today 283 workers.
BRULLI, also with the help of its 29 contractors, spent over 75.000 hours of work and 0 hours of injury on the entire project, thus once again confirming the great attention and care that BRULLI continues to pay to safeguarding worker safety and the quality of work. BRULLI will continue to manage the high voltage portion of the User grid consisting of a 132 kV overhead line and a 132/15 kV transformation User Cabin.
